What is the Navy League?
The Navy League is unique among military-oriented associations in that it is a civilian organization dedicated to the education of our citizens, including our elected officials, and the support of the men and women of the sea services and their families.
The objective and purpose of the Navy League is educational and motivational. We must acquire and display before the citizens of our country information as to the conditions of our naval and maritime forces. We must awaken interest and support in all matters which aid our maritime capabilities.
The Daytona Beach Council of the Navy League supports the local NROTC at Embry Riddle, the Naval Aviation Club at Embry Riddle, the Sea Cadets who meet at the Coast Guard Station at Ponce Inlet, the U. S. Coast Guard at Ponce Inlet and the USS Carney stationed at Mayport Naval Base.
Who is eligible?
All citizens who are interested in supporting the objectives of the Navy League are eligible to join.

Greetings Navy Leaguers!
I am pleased to announce the start of our Fall 2009 Member-Get-A-Member Contest.
The Navy League has an incredibly important mission, and strong recruitment and retention programs are essential to our ability to carry out and sustain this mission.
Your Membership and Marketing Committee and staff have been working on developing initiatives to assist local Councils’ recruiting and retention efforts. This contest is intended to not only increase our membership but to encourage friendly competition as we focus our efforts on reaching out to more diverse segments of our communities.
Thank you for your support of the Navy League’s mission, and good luck to all!
